Niya Tracker

Full-pool cleaning for a 40 ft pool, without the cord

The Niya Tracker 35 is the value full-coverage robot in the Niya range. Dual drive motors and tracks carry it up the walls and along the waterline, two active brushes scrub as it goes, and sonar navigation plans the route so a 2.5-hour charge covers an inground or above-ground pool up to 40 ft, a bigger pool than any Sonar model is rated for. When the cycle ends it docks at the wall for an easy lift.

It shares its platform, filters, battery and charger with the Sonar 30 and Tracker 55; what it gives up against the 55 is the Bluetooth app, and what it gains over the Sonar 30 is pool size and a 1.5-year warranty. Filtration is a single coarse basket, so it suits leaves, bugs and grit rather than fine silt. For a weekly schedule or ultra-fine filtration, look at a Dolphin Liberty or Dolphin EON. Pool Express is an authorized Maytronics dealer.

What the Niya Tracker 35 does

Complete pool coverage

Scrubs the floor, climbs the walls and works the waterline with two active brushes.

Dual drive motors

Two drive motors and tracks give it the grip to hold the wall and the power to push through a 2.5-hour cycle.

Sonar-powered navigation

Maps the pool and cleans in planned passes, which is how one charge covers a 40 ft pool.

Auto-docking

Parks at the pool wall when the cycle ends or the battery runs low; hook it with a pool pole or lift it by the handle.

1.5-year warranty

Backed by the Maytronics service network and stocked parts: filters, lids, tracks, battery and charger.

Niya Tracker 35 questions, answered

What size pool is the Niya Tracker 35 made for?

Inground and above-ground pools up to 40 ft long. Its 2.5-hour cycle covers the floor, walls and waterline of a pool that size.

What is the difference between the Niya Tracker 35 and the Tracker 55?

The Tracker 55 adds a Bluetooth app for choosing cleaning modes. Coverage, run time, pool size and warranty are the same.

How do I use the Niya Tracker 35 the first time?

Charge it fully before the first run; the LED turns steady green when it is ready. Unplug the charger, press the power button, and lower the robot into the water near the middle of the pool. It sinks to the floor, starts cleaning on its own and parks at the wall when the cycle ends or the battery runs low. Lift it out, empty and rinse the basket, and put it back on the charger for next time.

How do I charge the Niya Tracker 35?

Charge it in a shaded, dry spot from a GFCI outlet, with the charger plugged straight into the wall rather than an extension cord and kept at least four feet off the ground. Connect the charger to the robot: the LED glows steady red while charging (some units flash green instead). When the battery is full the LED turns steady green and switches off after ten minutes; unplug the charger from the robot and the outlet. The robot shuts the charger off by itself when it is full to protect the battery.

The Niya Tracker 35 doesn't respond when I switch it on. What's wrong?

Almost always a battery that drained during shipping or storage. Put the robot on its charger until the LED turns steady green, then try again. If it still will not start after a full charge, contact us and we will arrange service under the 1.5-year Maytronics warranty.

What does a purple light on the Niya Tracker 35 mean?

The robot is stuck. Lift it out of the water, wait for the blue LED to start flashing, then put it back in and it will carry on cleaning. If it keeps getting stuck in the same place, check for a drain cover, a ladder or a steep slope at that spot.

Why won't the Niya Tracker 35 climb the wall or reach the waterline?

Too much debris in the basket weakens the suction that holds it to the wall. Empty and rinse the basket first. If the filter is clean and it still slips off, clean the impeller as described in the manual, and check that the water chemistry is in range, since a high pH or very cold water hurts climbing on any robot.

Why is the Niya Tracker 35 moving slowly or picking up less than it used to?

A clogged filter is the usual cause: a dirty pool fills the basket fast and the suction drops with it. Turn the robot off, pull the basket, rinse it with a hose and replace the filter if the mesh is damaged. A clean filter restores both speed and suction.

How do I get the Niya Tracker 35 out of the pool?

You rarely have to reach for it. When the cycle ends or the battery runs low, the robot parks itself at the pool wall just below the surface. Lift it by the handle or hook it with the Niya retrieval hook on a standard pool pole, let the water drain for a moment, then rinse it and set it aside to charge.

What water conditions does the Niya Tracker 35 need?

Balanced water and a filter that is not already full. Keep free chlorine at 1 to 3 ppm, pH between 7.2 and 7.6 and the water above 59°F for the best cleaning, and wait 24 hours after a shock or flocculant treatment before the robot goes back in. Saltwater pools are fine. Rinse the robot and basket with tap water after each cycle.

How does Niya compare with a Dolphin robot?

Niya is Maytronics' value line: cordless, light and simple, with one coarse top-load basket, no timer and a 1.5-year warranty. Dolphin robots cost more and add longer warranties, fine and ultra-fine filtration, weekly timers or Wi-Fi apps and more cleaning modes. If your pool collects fine silt or algae, or you want cleaning on a schedule, a Dolphin is the better buy; if you want a dependable cordless cleaner at the lowest price from a manufacturer with a real parts and service network, Niya fits.

Who services the Niya Tracker 35 if something goes wrong?

Maytronics, through its US service network, under the 1.5-year warranty. Contact Pool Express first: our Pool Pros will confirm the fault, help you order a replacement part if that is all it needs (filters, wheel sets, batteries and chargers are stocked part numbers) or arrange the warranty claim. You also have our 30-day trial from delivery.
