Maytronics sells its robots under the Dolphin name, which is why a search for a Maytronics pool cleaner leads to Dolphin models. The company designs and manufactures the robots, motors, power supplies and filters itself, and its SmartNav, CleverClean and gyroscope navigation systems, HyperBrush and HyperGrip tracks, NanoFilters and MaxBin baskets are all Maytronics technology. Robots are serviced through a network of authorized Maytronics service centres across the United States. Maytronics also builds the Niya line of cordless robots and handheld vacuums, which Pool Express does not stock.

The range splits into lines by capability. The ProLine (Premier, Sigma, Quantum) and Max-Series (Quantum, Cayman, Escape) are Pool Express exclusives with commercial-grade motors and second-generation filtration, and the Wave line covers commercial pools from 50 to 88 ft.
