Genuine Maytronics parts · Dolphin
Climbing rings are the foam rings on a Dolphin's brushes. They give the robot its grip on the wall and the waterline, and they wear smooth long before they fall apart. A Dolphin that used to scrub the tile line and now turns back halfway up the wall almost always needs a new set, the cheapest repair on the robot.
Rings come in packs of four for the combined brushes; the Wonder Brush is the ring-covered brush for the models that use it.
Choose it in the list; the rings Maytronics lists for it stay on the page.
A combined brush carries two or four rings. Replace them all at once so the brush grips evenly.
Rings slide onto the brush when wet. Dunk them in the pool first and work them into the grooves.
Packs of four rings for the combined brushes on the Nautilus, Explorer, ProLine, Max-Series, S-line and Wave robots.

Smooth, hard rings cannot hold the wall. New rings restore the climb within one cycle.
A missing ring leaves one side of the brush gripping less than the other, so the robot pulls to one side on the wall.

One to two seasons in most pools. Rough plaster wears them faster than tile or vinyl, and a robot that runs daily wears them faster than one that runs twice a week.
No. They fit the robots with combined brushes; robots with active brushes or plain PVC brushes do not use them. The fit list on each pack shows the models.
Yes. Wet the new rings, stretch them over the brush and roll them into the grooves; no screws are involved.
Send a Pool Pro your robot's model number (on the label under the handle) and a photo of the old part. We will confirm the Maytronics part number and where to get it.
