Power Supply Advanced 115V US Weekly Timer

Genuine Maytronics parts · Dolphin

Dolphin pool cleaner power supplies and chargers

The power supply is as much the robot's brain as its plug: it holds the cycle timer, the weekly schedule and the app connection. It is matched to the robot by wattage, connector and firmware, so the sticker on the back of your current unit is the fastest route to the right replacement.

Find the right power supply for your Dolphin

Corded robots use a power supply; the cordless Liberty, EON and Skimmi use a charger, and the two are not interchangeable.

Start with your model

Choose it in the list and the units Maytronics lists for it stay on the page.

Read the sticker on the old unit

It shows the part number and wattage (120W or 180W). The replacement should match both; a unit with more features than the robot's firmware expects will not pair.

Rule out the cable first

A power supply that lights up but will not start the robot is usually a cable or swivel fault. One that shows no light on a good outlet has failed.

When to replace a Dolphin power supply

No light, or it will not stay on

Try another GFCI outlet first. No light on a good outlet, or a unit that shuts off with the cable unplugged, means the supply has failed.

It powers up but the robot never starts

Check the cable and swivel first; a cut cable gives the same symptom. If the robot runs on a borrowed supply, yours is at fault.

You want a timer or the app

On models Maytronics lists for it, a weekly-timer or Wi-Fi supply adds scheduling or app control to a robot that shipped with a plain unit.

Dolphin pool cleaner power supplies: your questions

Can I use any Dolphin power supply with my robot?

No. Wattage, connector and firmware must match. Pick your model, or read the part number on the old unit, and use only a unit on that list.

Is a Dolphin power supply repairable?

No. The unit is sealed and is replaced rather than repaired. Inside the Maytronics warranty a failed unit is swapped; outside it, the replacement here is the fix.

Can I use an extension cord or a surge protector?

Maytronics says no. Plug the power supply directly into a GFCI-protected 115V outlet; extension cords drop the voltage and surge strips interfere with the robot's sensing.

Still not sure? Ask a Pool Pro.

Not sure this is the right part?

Send a Pool Pro your robot's model number (on the label under the handle) and a photo of the old part. We will confirm the Maytronics part number and where to get it.
