Dolphin remote controls
A Dolphin remote only works with a power supply built for it: a Bluetooth remote needs a Bluetooth-ready supply, the manual-drive remote needs the remote-ready unit. Check the label on the back of the power supply before ordering, and remember that on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth robots the MyDolphin Plus app does everything the remote does.

Choose it in the list and the remotes Maytronics lists for it stay on the page.
Check the power supply
The label says whether it is remote-ready or Bluetooth. A remote cannot be added to a plain on/off unit.
Try the app first
If a remote has stopped pairing, change the battery and re-pair it; if the robot has Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, the app is the fallback.

When to replace a Dolphin remote
It will not pair after a new battery
Re-pair it with the power supply first. Only if pairing still fails is the remote at fault.
Buttons are worn or the case is cracked
Sun fades the buttons and water gets in through a cracked case; the replacement is the same part Maytronics shipped.

Which Dolphins come with a remote?
Only the robots sold with a remote-ready or Bluetooth power supply. Pick your model to see whether Maytronics lists a remote for it.
Can I add a remote to a Dolphin that did not come with one?
Only if its power supply is remote-ready or Bluetooth. Otherwise the MyDolphin Plus app, where the robot supports it, is the way to steer it.
Is it the remote or the robot?
If the robot runs normally from the power supply button, the robot is fine and the remote or its pairing is the problem.
