Niya Aquasweep
The Niya Aquasweep S10 is the more powerful of Niya's two handheld vacuums. A Turbo mode gives you a burst of suction for stubborn debris, a 120-micron filter traps everything from leaves to sand and holds 50 ounces before it needs emptying, and the 180-degree rotating brush head with a corner attachment works along steps and into the tight spots a robot cannot reach. The adjustable pole and short handle let it clean pools, spas and hot tubs in water as shallow as 10 inches.
Run time is up to an hour in normal mode or about 30 minutes in Turbo, and an automatic shut-off powers it down when it leaves the water. At about seven pounds it is easy to handle one-handed on the short handle. It complements a robot rather than replacing one: run the Tracker 55 or a Dolphin for the whole pool, and keep the Aquasweep by the steps.
