Choose the Cayman when rigid walls collect film or when scheduling matters. It climbs walls and its power supply can repeat cleaning on a weekly cycle. Neither model needs plumbing changes; keep the low-voltage supply on dry ground at the distance stated in the manual.

It may climb part way, but flexible walls do not behave like rigid steel or resin walls. On a soft-sided pool, judge it primarily by its floor cleaning.
