A refurbished robotic pool cleaner is a robot that was returned, then inspected, repaired where needed and tested before being graded and resold. The refurbished Dolphins here, the Premier, Sigma, Quantum, Cayman and Escape, run exactly like new units and carry a warranty, with the only differences being cosmetic grade and price. Every refurbished robot is tested in water before it is listed: motors, pump, navigation, tracks, brushes, cable and power supply. Worn parts are replaced with genuine Maytronics components and the unit is graded on cosmetics alone, from Excellent (little or no visible wear) through Good to Fair (visible marks that do not affect cleaning). Grades are shown on each product page along with the warranty for that unit.

For a ProLine robot, usually yes: you get commercial-grade motors, waterline cleaning and fine filtration at a mid-range price, with a warranty. Choose Excellent or Good grade if cosmetics matter to you.
Open-box units are new, unused robots with opened packaging and carry the warranty on their page. Refurbished units have been used, returned, serviced and tested, and are graded by cosmetic condition.
Each product page states the warranty for that unit. It is a real manufacturer-backed warranty handled through Pool Express.
